Studenterna på masterprogrammet i Contemporary Performative Arts, Högskolan för musik och scen vid Göteborgs universitet, har ägnat två år åt sina konstnärliga forskningsprojekt och presenterar sina processer genom installationer och performance. Masterprojekten visas på Atalante, Skogen, Lagerhusets bibliotek, Naturhistoriska museet och Valandkvarteret på Vasagatan 50 den 16-27 februari.
Lora Siebenhaars praktik utforskar sätt att blåsa liv i multimediala installationer och integrera levande närvaro med digitala och materiella former. Me When I Listen kombinerar audiella, visuella och levande element i ett tredimensionellt collage och reflekterar över nostalgin och känslan av att växa upp som ett splittrat, hypermedierat jag online. Föreställningen undersöker hur individualiserade digitala upplevelser kan ta konkret form genom handlingar av sårbart delande och gemensamt vittnesbörd. I en tid av neospiritualism frågar den: Är neokyrkan online? Och kan jag gå?

The students on the MFA in Contemporary Performative Arts, Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg, have spent two years working on an artistic research project and are presenting their processes through installations and performances. Their master’s projects are presented at Atalante, Skogen, Lagerhuset Library, Naturhistoriska museet, and Valandkvarteret at Vasagatan 50 between February 16 and 27.
Lora Siebenhaar‘s practice explores ways of breathing life into multimedia installations, integrating live presence with digital and material forms. Me When I Listen combines sonic, visual and live elements in a three-dimensional collage, reflecting on the nostalgia and sensation of growing up as a fractured, hyper-mediated self online. The performance examines how individualized digital experiences can take on tangible form through acts of vulnerable sharing and communal witnessing. In a time of neo-spiritualism, it asks: Is the neo-church online? And can I go?
