Gästspel

Atalante är en konstnärsdriven scen med gästspel, sam- och egna produktioner. Scenen medfinansieras Statens Kulturråd, Västra Götalandsregionen och Göteborgs Stad vilket medför att vi kan hålla nere våra hyreskostnader för gästspelen. Scenen har ett konstnärligt råd som lägger Atalantes repertoar. Vårt mål är att hitta en bra bredd i repertoaren som ingår i vår konstnärliga identitet. Vi prioriterar samtida scenkonst där den nutida koreografin och experimentella musiken står i fokus. Vi presenterar även film, konst och festivaler där det ges utrymme för kulturdebatter och samtal. Vi får alltid in fler ansökningar än vad vi har möjlighet att presentera.

Så här söker du:
Skicka in en projektbeskrivning om vad du vill presentera, vilken omfattning och tidsperiod till atalante@atalante.org.

Deadline för att ansöka om att gästspela våren 2025 är den 21 april, 2024.

För kännedom:
• Observera att du hyr scenen till ett reducerat pris. Kontakta scenens koordinator för kostnader etc.
• Om verket har haft premiär vill vi gärna se bild/videomaterial (länk).
• Vi prioriterar urpremiärer inom scenkonst (koreografi, performance, ljudkonst).
• Förfrågningar som kommer in efter sista ansökningsdag kan vi inte ta ställning till.
• Vi har begränsad möjlighet att ingå i samarbetsprojekt. För hyreskostnader i samband med gästspel kontakta scenen.
• Vi hyr inte ut till körverksamhet, fester, samfund eller politisk verksamhet.
• Atalante har ingen scenisk verksamhet 15 juni-15 augusti.

Teknisk information:
• Scenens mått är: B 12,5 m / D 10m / H 5m (till ljusrå).
• Atalante har 88 sittplatser i fast gradäng.

Guest performance

Atalante is an artist driven venue staging guest performances, cooperative performances and productions of its own. The venue is partly sponsored by the Swedish Arts Council, Region Västra Götaland and the City of Gothenburg, giving us an opportunity to keep rental charges low for guest performances. The venue has an artistic council deciding on Atalante’s programme. Our aim is to create a comprehensive repertoire as part of our artistic identity. We give priority to contemporary dramatic art focusing on present day choreography and experimental music. We also present films, art and festivals inviting to cultural debates and conversations. There are always more applications than we are able to present.

Deadline for guest performances applications for the spring repertoire of 2025 is April 21, 2024.

How to apply:

Send us a description of the project you’d like to present, its scope and time plan to atalante@atalante.org.
Technical rider.
Please note, that you’ll be renting the stage. Please contact the venue coordinator for information on costs etc.
If the piece has already been presented, we’d be very interested in pictures or video material as an added link.
We give priority to choreography, performance, sound art.
We plan our repertoire in six month periods.
We don’t rent out our space to choral activities, parties, religious communities or political parties.
Atalante is closed for performances between June 15 and August 15.
The measurements of the stage are: width 12,5 meters, depth 10 meters, hight (to the flybar) 5 meters.
*88 seats in a permanent seating arrangement, gradually rising.

Våra residensprogram

Turnéslingan Tre Scener
Turnéslingan Tre Scener har sedan år 2000 bytt turnéföreställningar mellan de tre fria dansscenerna Atalante, Dansstationen och MDT (fd. Moderna Dansteatern). Syftet är att ge utominstitutionell dans möjlighet att turnera och möta en ny publik. Turneslingan Tre Scener har ingen öppen ansökan utan koreografer föreslås av Amanda Nordmark (Atalante), Tomas Persson Carlberg (Atalante), Lars Eidevall (Dansstationen) och Anna Efraimsson (MDT).

Our residencies

Transit
Atalante offers new projects a week to work at our stage within the Transit residence. The focus is on exploring ideas rather than on a finished production. We, the staff, will function as a sounding board in both choreographic as well as practical discussions. Transit isn’t offered every year but rather when we have the capacity. An Open Call is always posted when it´s time to apply.

Dance residency
Within this form of residency, a choreographer is offered one or more weeks on our stage with the purpose of working on a specific piece, with the aim of a work-in-progress showing to an audience.

Turnéslingan Tre Scener
Since 2000, Turnéslingan Tre Scener has exchanged performances between the three independent stages Atalante, Dansstationen and MDT (former Moderna Dansteatern). The purpose is to give dance outside the institutions the opportunity to tour and meet a new audience. There is no open application for Turnéslingan Tre Scener. Instead the choreographers are proposed by Amanda Nordmark (Atalante), Tomas Persson Carlberg (Atalante), Lars Eidevall (Dansstationen) and Anna Efraimsson (MDT)
