En metallisk kub, ett kroppsstort smycke som går att veckla till ett oändligt antal former. Smyckekonst och dans blir en duett, ett möte mellan kroppen och den metalliska formen. Koreografen Eva Ingemarsson och smyckekonstnären Lena Birgitsdotter har sökt och utformat ett eget formuttryck där rörelsen möter metallen, det vita möter det svarta, och kuben spelar fritt i mellanrummet. Ibland är dansaren bärare av detta jättestora smycke, ibland är det en farkost som för dansen till nya vinklar. En koreografi för kroppens form och för smycket som halsband, brosch eller rum att gå in i.
”Vi ser ett vackert möte mellan konstnärer som tillsammans tänjer på ramarna för sin konst. Viktor Wendins känsliga ljussättning med aktiva skuggor räknas också hit.” GP 22.1 2018. I samband med föreställningen ställer Lena Birgitsdotter ut sina smycken och fotografier i foajén.

A metallic cube, a body jewelry that can be developed into an infinite number of shapes. Art jewelry and dance become a duet, a meeting between the body and the metallic form. The choreographer Eva Ingemarsson and the the art jeweler Lena Birgitsdotter have sought and designed their own form expression, where the movement meets the metal, the white meets the black, and the cube plays freely in the space. Sometimes the dancer is wearing this great jewelry, sometimes it’s a craft for dancing to new angles. A choreography for the shape of the body and for the jewelry like a necklace, brooch or room to enter.

In conjunction with the performance, Lena Birgitsdotter is exhibiting her jewelry and photography in Atalante’s foyer.
