Destination Atalante är Atalantes mötesplats för publik och konstnärer inom scenkonst, musik, film, text och bild. Fyra kvällar under hösten bjuder vi in artister från olika konstområden. Här får de berätta om sina konstnärsskap, visa utdrag från saker som är under arbete och diskutera aktuella frågor inom konstområdet.
På Destination Atalante vet en aldrig vad som väntar. Är det konsert i foajén, en föreställning på scen, kulturpolitisk debatt, sceniska improvisationer, filmvisning, konstutställning, nycirkus eller en konstnärspresentation? Eller rentav alltihop på samma gång…
Destination Atalante sätter mötet och samtalet mellan konstnärer, artister och publiken i centrum och vill uppmuntra det gränsöverskridande, och inspirera till nya samarbeten.
Medverkande 5 september:
Gothenburg Fringe Festival
I september är det dags för den sjunde upplagan av Gothenburg Fringe. På Destination kommer Fringe-teamet berätta om årets program, festivalens struktur och hur en kan bli del av Fringe.
Natalia Drozd
Natalia Drozd är dansare, koreograf och producent, som för tilfället arbetar med sitt kommande verk SUPERSTAR (of the body) – ett solo som kan ses som en roman där fiktion möter outtalade begär.
Anna Emilsson
Dansaren och koreografen Anna Emilssons visa utdrag och berättar om sitt kommande verk ’På tunn is, ur nödvändighet’ som har urpremiär på Atalante i oktober.
Konstkollektivet Högen
Högen är en improvisationsgrupp sammansatt av dansare, musiker och scenkonstnärer, som under flera år medverkat som ”husband” på Destination. Under kvällen gör de en eller två improvisationer.

Destination Atalante is Atalante’s meeting place for audiences and artists in performing arts, music, film, text and visual arts. During four evenings this autumn we will invite artists from different art fields to talk about their work, show excerpts from pieces in progress and discuss current issues in the art field.
When you go to Destination Atalante, you never know what to expect. Is there a concert in the foyer, a performance on stage, a cultural policy debate, stage improvisations, film show, contemporary circus or an artist presentation? Or perhaps everything, all at once…
Destination Atalante puts meetings and the conversations between artists and audience in focus and wants to encourage cross–border innovation, and inspire new collaborations.

Gothenburg Fringe Festival
In September it’s time for the seventh annual edition of Gothenburg Fringe. At Destination the Fringe-team will talk about this years program, the structure of the festival and how one can be a part of Fringe.
Natalia Drozd
Natalia Drozd is a dancer, choreographer and producer, currently working on a new dance performance called ’SUPERSTAR (of the body)’ is a solo that can be thought of as a novel where fiction meets unspoken desires.
Anna Emilsson
Dancer and choreographer Anna Emilsson shows an excerpt and talks about her up-coming work ’The thinnest ice, out of necessity’ that will premiere at Atalante in October.
Konstkollektivet Högen
Högen is an improvisation group made up of dancers, musicians and performance artists. They have for a number of years been a standing part of Destination Atalante, and during this evening they will show one or two improvisations.
